Day XIV

This is the view outside my office window. You can see the top of the capitol building in the middle of the picture, and everything in front of that is the Denver Art Museum. We had front row seats for all the construction that was going on the past couple of years. I'd like to say that it it's beautiful, but our angle doesn't do much for the building.

We do get to see all the floats lining up on our street whenever Denver has a parade. This year, I think I'll head down for the Parade of Lights. In the past, I've been tantalized by the floats sitting down on the cordoned off street, but I've never stuck around to see them in all their glory.

I doubt that I'll ever become more than a passably decent photographer, but I have to say that I like the way this shot turned out.

That would be cool to see the parade from your window, too!

Unfortunately, they wind away from us once they get going. We only get to see the staging - but I have a prime parking spot for walking downtown to see it all!
