I'm never sure what to call them. Bullets? Points? Dots? (Usually when I do it, I call it lazy...)
- Watched the latest Dr. Who episode (for here in the States on Comcast). It was the Christmas one with Kylie Minogue. No spoilers really, but boy was it a little different. Darker than I expected. I'm not sure what they're going to do with this Doctor since Martha is gone (right? for a little while, at least).
- I got trapped into watching the latest Tudors episode. I keep teasing WhatsHisFace about his soap opera, but it was actually a really good show. I got sucked into it within the first five minutes, and didn't pull out a book or my laptop till it was over.
- Watched Becoming Jane finally. It's been sitting on the counter from Netflix for weeks, but I haven't had much time to devote to the TV in awhile. I enjoyed the movie even if it was mostly all made up. And James McAvoy is just yummy.
- I had no idea Fergie could actually sing. Everything I've heard from her has been awful, and I thought it was just her. I was talking with a friend about American Idol and it reminded me of the Gives Back episode. Heart was on (and freaking amazing - wow) and Fergie came out and sang the second verse and then shared the rest with Ann Wilson. It blew me away when I watched it originally, that she was that good. Watching it back on youtube though - she's just a little... thinner than Ann. In the obvious sense (black skin tight leather while she slithers about the stage) but also in the voice department. Ann has this deep rich, distinctive voice. Fergie sang the song pretty well, but it was like eating fat free versus the real stuff.
- Can't wait for Wall-E
